Genuine Mercury Marine Front Face Plate for Cowling This is a front cowl cover/face plate from a Mercury outboard. It has some signs of use cosmetically, but is generally in very good shape. There are some white specks in the section below the word "Mercury" which I didn't try to remove. They might come off, and if not, should be easy to touch up. Measurements: Approximately 14-1/2" High, 8-1/2" Wide This was in a group I found in a box at my Granddad's boat store and with most of them, I don't know exactly what motor they came off of. Many will fit a range of models. I'm including measurements and any info I can find regarding what they might fit, but can't guarantee a particular model. Ford Escape recall addresses door handle issue
Wed, 14 May 2014Ford is recalling Escape SUVs from the 2013 and 2014 model years for a problem that can make the doors difficult to close or -- more ominously -- can cause the doors to open while driving. A total of 581,986 SUVs made between October 5, 2013, and April 10, 2014, are affected; Ford blames the recall on assembly misalignment between the exterior door handle and the door outer panel. The danger of this assembly issue involves the possibility of an unbelted passenger falling out of the SUV, though Ford has not indicated that any such incident has occurred.
