Genuine OEM Mercury brand starter manufactured by Prestolite as were starters and ignition components for nearly all makes of outboards Back in the Day. Pulled from a 1960's Mercury 4-cyl model 650 65 HP with distributor ignition. Same starter would fit the model 850 [85 HP] 4-cylinder from same range of model years. Note this attaches to motor with two vertical bolts and a bracket on the bottom that attaches to two crankcase bolts; later starters generally use rubber mounts and two 'cap' type clamps. I am including the lower bracket to facilitate fast, easy installation. Also included is the starter solenoid that's mounted directly to the starter housing. Honda Vezel Hybrid is the production Urban Concept & Jazz SUV: Tokyo Motor Show

Honda Vezel Hybrid is the production Urban Concept At the Detroit Auto Show at the start of the year, Honda revealed the Urban Concept as a compact SUV based on the Jazz and destined to take on cars like the Nissan Juke. Fast forward to the Tokyo Motor Show and the Honda Vezel Hybrid has been revealed as the production version of the Urban Concept (although it’s unlikely the Vezel name will be used in the UK) and will arrive in the UK in 2015. In Japan, Honda are offering the Vezel with either a Sport Hybrid i-DCD which mates a 1.5 litre petrol wityh an electric motor or as a straightforward 1.5 litre petrol, both of which will be available when the Vezel goes on sale in Japan on 20th December 2013.

McLaren to introduce 12C GT Sprint at Goodwood

McLaren is producing a 12C model that will slot in between the “basic” 12C and the all-out racing GT3 version called the 12C GT Sprint. It will be a track-focused supercar with enhanced suspension, cooling and aerodynamics. The GT Sprint starts with the basic McLaren 12C.

2013 Mazda CX-9 debuts before Australian show

Mazda will fully reveal the 2013 CX-9 SUV at the Australian International motor show in October. It appears that Mazda couldn't wait that long, as the company just released a few images of the redesigned people carrier, which now looks like the big brother to the CX-5. It features the Kodo design language that we've seen at several auto shows, which lends it a sportier look than previous models.
