We are selling a Mercury Outboard Top Mount Remote Control w/ Tilt & Trim Part # 8M0041431 Furnished with single trim switch in handle for trim and trailering. All installations require an Throttle/Shift Cables to complete the installation. Must use Gen II Throttle/Shift Cables design (897978A). Fits all Mercury outboard applications (with integral trim) 1993 and Newer Models. The auction is for the throttle control, hood and gasket. There is no manual or mounting hardware. The hood has a scratch and one of the mounting holes on the hood is broke. But there is still enough for it to mount securely (see pics). Chinese car firm set to expand
Mon, 30 Dec 2013CHINA’S newest car brand, aimed at the luxury end of the booming Chinese car market, is to release a second model to its range. Qoros, which introduced the 3 Sedan at the 2013 Geneva and Shanghai motor shows, is set to introduce the as-yet unnamed model in March, again at the Geneva show. Among the manufacturer’s claims are that the new car will boast European levels of materials quality, as well as advanced technology like an eight-inch touch-screen display and a Cloud-based infotainment system.
Which sounds better? Jaguar F-Type V8 or V6?
Wed, 31 Oct 2012Jaguar continues to keep interest in the new F-Type piqued with video comparing the sound of the V6 and V8 F-Type. The latest Jaguar marketing magic comes courtesy of a short video with a pair of F-Types pulling away and accelerating hard; one a V6 supercharged and the other a V8 supercharged. We don’t know whether the V6 is the 340PS base F-Type or the 380PS F-Type S, but it makes a fine noise.

Wisdom borne of experience: If you are contemplating the purchase of a British car and the vital parts of that car are in more than, say, two cardboard boxes, your purchase is suspect. Obviously there are exceptions: The D-type Jaguar comes to mind.
