BMW M5 manual mess-up
Sat, 27 Jan 2007By Chris chilton Motor Industry 27 January 2007 01:34 North American customers were delighted when BMW bowed to their demands for a full three-pedal manual version of the current V10 M5 super saloon, but aren’t quiet so enamoured with the finished product. The issue is not with the gearbox itself – BMW successfully replaced the European model’s seven-speed SMG box with the old-shape M5’s six-speed manual – but with the compromises that were needed to get there. SEMA ups scholarship money for car-crazed college kids
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The Specialty Equipment Market Association, better known to most of us as SEMA, has announced a hefty boost to its SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2013: The top student selected now gets $1,000 more for a total of $5,000 toward an automotive-related college education. Other eligible participants in four-year programs get $3,000—last year, they only received $2,000—and two-year students get their funds doubled to $2,000. In the Buckeye State, one lucky student at the Ohio Technical College will get complete tuition coverage, which is a cool $29,400.
Subaru WRX concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

In fact, that’s exactly what the WRX concept could become – the next Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Subaru killed off the rally-bred saloon in the UK this year, but we’re sure the Brits would welcome it back with open arms if it looked like this.
