Nissan GT-R 2010 UK updates

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

Nissan has revealed the changes to the 2010 GT-R At the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan brought along the 2010 Nissan GT-R with a raft of minor tweaks and adjustments for their supercar killing four seat coupe. We thought that they’d probably be available just in Japan to kick off with (the 2010 GT-R launches there in December) but Nissan has sent us the 2010 updates for the GT-R for the UK and Europe this afternoon, so it looks like it’s updates round the world. Just about all the changes are under the skin for the GT-R.

Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept points to a Nissan Juke competitor

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept (pictured) heading for Geneva Volkswagen are aiming to expand their lineup of SUVs from the current Tiguan and Touareg to include more options in size and ability to tap in to the growing compact SUV market, and having already previewed the Up!-based Taigun we now get a new VW compact SUV concept aiming to fit in between the Taigun and Tiguan – the Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept. Heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week – and revealed today in a series of design sketches (above) – the T-Roc is a two-door, four-wheel-drive compact SUV with a two-pieced Targa roof. In terms of styling, the T-Toc gets VW’s idea of and evolution of its, rather bland, SUV styling with a new grill providing a more original front end (which has echoes of the Nissan Juke but can be referenced by the Karmann Ghia), a coupe look and that removable Targa roof.

Nissan 370Z Nismo vs Wingsuit – Nissan try to be Top Gear

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Nissan 370Z Nismo Vs Wingsuit That was five years ago, so Nissan obviously feel enough time has passed to plagiarise Top Gear’s stunt without too much criticism, so they’ve decided to pit a man in a wingsuit – who isn’t Red Devils – against a man in a car that isn’t a Porsche. So we have Peter Pyzera - Germany’s 2012 Nissan GT Academy Champion – in a 370Z Nismo blatting his way down Switzerland’s Susten Pas as it falls 4,501 feet and BASE jumper Dave Barlia in a wingsuit doing the same. Peter Pyzera said after the stunt: That was absolutely amazing, I could see Dave up above me and I just had to concentrate and get in the zone to beat him down.
