Bentley - the Chinese can't get enough of 'em In case you’re wondering, Hong Shao Rou is a Chinese dish of cubes of braised pork belly glazed with caramelised sugar and Shaoxing rice wine. It was Chairman Mao’s favourite dish and so, despite China’s headlong dive back in to post-Mao capitalism, is a dish much loved and much revered in China. A bit like Bentley.

Daihatsu Pico

The second of Daihatsu's entourage of models is the Pico. Following the layout of a two-seat quadricycle, laid out by the Twizy, the Pico has been developed as a vehicle ‘offering the appeal that only a compact car can provide to accommodate social and environmental changes such as the aging population, regional locations and delivery businesses'. The Pico features an LED central belt that circles the vehicle, relaying information such as the Pico's speed to pedestrians and other road users.

It has been revealed that McLaren is planning a new version of the McLaren F1 (above). When Ron Dennis announced he was giving up running the McLaren F1 team, he said it was exactly the opposite of retirement. In fact, he said he’d be busier than ever.
