The Meziere 400 Series starters are the benchmark for performance racing engines. Meziere proprietary drive, revolutionary pinion support and robust solenoid activation make these the absolute best option for starting large cubic inch and high compression engines. Well known among
today's racers is the pain of starter failure. Because Meziere is involved in
the high performance automotive industry, they know the trouble that
enthusiasts are having and they try extremely hard to make products that are
needed but unavailable. Their starters are tested to the extreme and are not
sold until everything is right. Standard testing includes amp draw, power and
rotational speed under load, as well as free rev testing to ensure proper
balance of internal rotating parts. Meziere is raising the industry standard to
bring you truly trouble-free parts for your vehicle. The design of their “True
Start” starter incorporates superior components and design elements throughout.
A powerful motor provides 20% more power than any Hitachi based starter. Technical

Cannonball Run seminar at Amelia Island was one for the ages
Mon, 21 Mar 2011I don't think I've been to a bad car show, and that includes the local Kamaro Klub in the Dairy Queen parking lot. But I tend to judge the shows by the afterglow--how much you remember a day or two after the event. I tend to remember a lot after every Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, and that is mostly because the founder, Bill Warner, uses his annual North Florida show to do exactly what you and I would do if we ran a big show--invite our heroes to come talk and invite the cars we'd like to look at ourselves.

Who's Where: John Puskar and Liz Wetzel appointed to new roles at GM Design
Tue, 10 Aug 2010As part of an ongoing strategy at General Motors, this past month has seen a series of moves taking place within the company's design organization in Europe and the US. Two of the key changes have been the appointment of John Puskar to the role of Director of Cross-Brand Strategy, C&T and Components in North America, and that of Liz Wetzel, who has been named Director of GME Design Interior – effectively filling Puskar's role. Puskar, who until recently headed the Opel/Vauxhall Interior Design at the European Design Center in Russelsheim, Germany, majored in Industrial Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art and worked at Ford in both the USA and Germany before joining General Motors as a creative designer at the GMC Brand Center in 1999.
