I'm doing some Spring cleaning in my garage and offer this RIGHT FRONT ARMSTRONG SHOCK ABSORBER FOR MG's.

THERE ARE NO LEAKS AND THE RESISTANCE TO MOVING THE ARM IS GOOD.

This is the "straight arm" front shock absorber where my 'old timer's memory tells me that the 'bent arm' version was for the big Healeys.

THIS IS SUITABLE FOR MGB's. I THINK FROM 1962 THROUGH 1980 BUT I CAN'T BE SURE SO CHECK AGAINST YOUR EXISTING PART.

In an effort to assist you,  here are some dimensions:

Total arm (painted gold) length - 9 5/8 inches or 25 cms.

Total base width (painted black)  - 3 7/8 inches or 10 cms

Overall length (painted black)  - 6 7/8 inches or 17 cms

Total height (painted black) -  4 7/8 inches or 12 1/2 cms

(Dimensions approximate - my eye sight!!)

I can tell you that the popular, new parts catalogues have front shock absorbers for an MGA @ $269.95!

Thank you for your interest and good luck with your bidding.

Mitsubishi GC-PHEV concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Mitsubishi has no less than three future-reaching concept cars on display at Tokyo 2013, and this is the biggest of all of them. It’s called the Concept GC-PHEV, and amongst many other things gives us a sneak peak at current thinking for the next-generation Mitsubishi Shogun. However, it also features a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 and a plug-in electric hybrid system, and a cabin with more touchscreens than your local electronics emporium.
