Used Cylinder Head for Recontioning.

This sale is for used Triumph Spitfire 1500 and MG Midget 1500

cylinder head.  The casting/stamping number is TKC1409.

There is no visible evidence of a blown head gasket, burnt valve 

or other defects or other issues outside of normal wear and

carbon deposits.  This head should be reconditioned 

before installation.  

The buyer should compare and confirm the casting no. TKC1409

with their original cylinder head to assure that it is correct for the

intended application.

The cylinder does have air injection ports.  The ports currently have

removable plugs installed in them.

The primary applications are:

MG Midget 1500 

Triumph Spitfire 1500

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is reviving a name from the growing list of dead car companies, building a reimagined, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro-based Trans Am for the PlayStation generation. Ken Lingenfelter and his Decatur, Ind., team redesigned almost every panel of the Camaro, leaving only the doors and the roof intact. They parked a 1971 Pontiac Trans Am alongside the donor car for inspiration.

This is the BMW i8 Concept, a near-production preview of Munich’s new plug-in hybrid supercar. Audi and Mercedes might have stolen a march on BMW with the R8 and SLS respectively, but while its rivals prepare limited-run electric versions of their supercars, BMW is putting this i8 into proper mass production in just two years time. The BMW i8, and its i3 EV sibling, will be revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September. So this BMW i8 supercar is a plug-in hybrid?
