This is an excellent used left hand door assembly for 1966-1979 MG Midget. Comes with hinges that have almost no looseness. Vent frame and glass. Outer door handle. Door glass(tinted), sorry. Regulator works smoothly and has no looseness in operation. Interior door lock and latch very crisp. Door pull is fair. Door skin is dent free and has only minor surface scratches. Striker works well. Door was originally brown. Has been painted red. Weep holes at bottom of door show only very minor surface rust. Vent glass has vent lock lever. Overall everything that is supposed to work does and everything that is supposed to be solid and stationary is. You will most likely want to replace rubber goods and paint it yor own color. It is a great foundation to work from.

He believed that Pontiac needed a compact, exciting car to compete with the newly launched Mustang and approved funding for the experimental Pontiac two-seat sports-car program, codenamed XP-833. Inspired by another GM show car, the rear-engined Corvair Monza GT from 1963, the lines of the XP-833 were a perfect example of the Coke-bottle bodystyle: long hood, short deck and sweeping fender curves.
