Fiat Launches Racy New Range Of Abarth 500s

NEW colours, more technology and a host of other changes feature in the latest range of Abarth 500 cars for 2014. The new range has just been launched as part of a tie-in with the infamous Gumball 3000 supercar event, which visited Edinburgh and London recently as part of an international tour. Gales and rain hit Christmas travel

PEOPLE WANTING to get home for Christmas face major disruption as strong gales and torrential rain threaten to cause travel chaos. Severe weather warnings are in place for much of the UK today until 9am on Christmas Eve, threatening to cause localised flooding across southern England and Wales. Strong winds are expected across much of the UK, with winds of up to 80mph in coastal areas of southern England, while Scotland is braced for sleet and snow storms and icy roads, the Met Office said.

M6 toll under fire on its 10th anniversary

THE M6 TOLL Road has reached its 10th anniversary but faces criticism that it only carries half the number of vehicles originally anticipated. Launched in 2003 as a 27-mile stretch of relief road around Birmingham, the M6 Toll runs between Cannock and Coleshill. However, roads campaigners say it has not benefitted to local area or the UK roads network.
