For MG XPAG engines(TB/TC/TF/YA/YB/YT etc,:
Rear crankshaft lip seal conversion, this kit comes complete with all necessary components, the CNC machined part,bolts,lip seal(VOLVO) and instructions. The rear main bearing cap and the crankshaft rear flange have to be machined, if you can`t do this yourself,every machine shop will be able to do this for little money! When fitted correctly,the engine will be 100% oil tight,I have manufactured and fitted many of these over the years, if there was still oil at the rear end,it was always a problem with sealing the oil sump to the rear main bearing cap!!! Postage to USA is $ 18 for an insured letter! If you have further questions,don`t hesitate to contact me! I`m using this kit(and manufacturing,of course) since 15 years in my XPAG-engined MG TA without any leckage under the engine! The kit ist NOT glued to the rear main cap(a funny idea,but unprofessional!),the picture shows the trial fit for centralizing the halves to the crank, it is then fitted with rivets or screws into the bearing cap,depending on the material left there after machining! Despite its sheet metal changes, the car is actually little changed underneath. Its 4.6-liter V8 engine and eight-speed transmission are basically carryover, at a time when luxury brands are using powertrain technology as a differentiating ploy.
Infiniti to sell luxury EV in 2013
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Infiniti plans to launch its first luxury electric vehicle in the United States and other global markets in 2013. Nissan Motor Co.'s luxury division said Friday that the Infiniti EV will be “a stylish, high performance five-seat luxury vehicle with zero emissions technology.” Infiniti first announced plans to market an electric vehicle last year but offered few details until now. It will be based on the same platform as the Nissan Leaf, an electric car scheduled to go on sale later this year.
