General Motors to shut down Saab
Fri, 18 Dec 2009General Motors has announced that it will be closing the Saab brand after the company was unable to strike a deal with Spyker Cars. This follows from last month's withdrawal of would-be suitor Koenigsegg, leaving Spyker the sole contender in the acquisition of the ailing Swedish brand. The body kit may be a bit too brash for many tastes, but Nissan do say it gives the 370Z levels of downforce that rival the GT-R, so when your neighbours laugh at your Halfords-esque 370Z you can tell them it’s all about the go and not the show. VW e-Up! EV price confirmed
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Volkswagen has confirmed its e-Up! electric city car will cost £19,250 including the £5,000 government Plug-in Car Grant subsidy. The car is on sale now in the UK at Volkswagen’s 24 specialist EV electric vehicle retailers, with deliveries starting at the end of January 2014.
