For sale is a new original BMC part #1G3594 third gear on the mainshaft as fitted to the 1956-62 MGA and the 1963-67 MGB. This gear is an original BMC part that I bought in England 30+ years ago at auction when they were liquidating British Leyland. It is not a Chinese knock-off. The part is in good useful condition with some small corrosion spots that do not affect the operation. Most of the spots are a protective coating that is still present on the gear shown in the last three pictures. I cleaned one of the gears with lacquer thinner as is illustrated in the first three pictures. You will receive one with the coating still on it.

If you are unhappy with your part you may return it for a full refund including shipping both ways.

SHIPPING

I GLADLY COMBINE SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.

I require delivery confirmation when using USPS shipping. International rates will vary. I only ship priority or airmail to overseas destinations. Please email for rates for this item to your destination. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. We carefully wrap everything we ship to ensure that your purchase arrives in good condition. I generally ship in cardboard boxes rather than envelopes to ensure this!

PAYMENT

I accept PayPal and cash for local pick-ups.

Jaguar XFR Review: The Styling

Mon, 27 Jul 2009

The stylish and elegant lines of the understated Jaguar XFR And the interior is as much of a delight as the exterior. More bolstered seats (a necessity in the XFR), seemingly infinitely adjustable that can both cool and warm. A clean, uncluttered dash with dark oak and aluminium, with red-stitching on its leather-clad top.

Mercedes-Benz's 'invisible' car stunt [w/video]

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Mercedes-Benz has crafted a clever publicity stunt in and around Hamburg as part of its campaign to promote its zero-emission B-Class F-Cell car. The Stuttgart-based carmaker showed off its redesigned hydrogen fuel cell technology by sending out what appears at first glance to be an invisible car, aimed to highlight the automaker's point that the car is 'invisible to the environment'. Mercedes-Benz recorded reactions from passersby to create a 90-second online viral featuring an explanation of how the effect was created using LED lights and cameras.
