Replace your old hood prop with this new self-triggering type! You will love needing only one hand to get your hood up and staying up! Ever had to look under the hood of your MG and struggled to get that hood propped up without it falling on your head? This is the tool for you! Just lift slightly and the prop automatically collapses. It also reduces the chance of someone bending your hood by trying to force it shut on the factory prop. Looks like original equipment and installs easily to existing brackets. Fits MGB's and Midgets from about 1971-1980. |

Mercedes to launch AMG branded baby SLS
Sat, 14 Jan 2012AMG badged baby SLS coming Mercedes are to launch an AMG branded small sports car in 2012 based on a cut-down version of the Mercedes SLS. We’ve thought for some time it was almost certain that Mercedes would build a smaller version of the SLS to take on cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. And back in October we got confirmation from AMG’s Christoph Jung that Mercedes and AMG are indeed working on a new, smaller SLS.
GM repays Government loans – sort of
Fri, 30 Apr 2010GM Loans repaid early - or are they? We can’t deny that GM are making a pretty good job of rising Phoenix-like from the ashes of their effective bankruptcy. A new focus on cars that are relevant for our times instead of a fixation with dated products and dated management has certainly helped.
Nigel Mansell Le Mans debut 2010
Sat, 29 May 2010Nigel Mansell & Sons - Le Mans entrants 2010 Nigel Mansell is still one of our best known racing drivers, despite it being more than a year or two since he hung up his F1 helmet. But that hasn’t stopped him enjoying time behind the wheel of a fast motor or two and guiding the motor racing careers of his sons, Leo and Greg. Last year, perhaps a little tongue in cheek whilst being interviewed by Radio 2 jock and Ferrari nut Chris Evans, Nigel expressed a desire to get back in to F1 and said he could “…jump in a Ferrari [F1] tomorrow and be competitive.” But going backwards is not usually a sensible route – as Michael Schumacher can currently testify - but new challenges – whatever your age – are to be relished.
