New Stratos (w/ Gallery)

After weeks of speculation, the official story and pictures of the reborn Lancia Stratos – officially named 'New Stratos' – have been revealed. While the car's design and concept are obviously related to the 2005 Fenomenon Stratos – a venture headed by RCA graduate Chris Hrabalek – design and development have been completed by Pininfarina. Initially headed by Jason Castriota before he left – ironically for the original Lancia Stratos' birthplace, Bertone – Luca Borgogno completed the exterior and interior design.

Audi A8 W12 and Audi S8 cancelled for 2010

The 2010 Audi A8 will not have the W12 or the S8's V10 Update 1/12/2009: It looks like Audi has had a change of heart and has now confirmed plans for an S8 for 2011. Land Rover starts voyage of Discovery with Virgin Galactic (2014)

The Discovery was revealed on the deck of the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier alongside Virgin's SpaceShipTwo, the rocketship charged with making space tourism a commercial reality. Land Rover's SUVs will be the taxi of choice for budding, wealthy astronauts, attending Virgin's New Mexico base for training and space flights.
