Offered for your consideration is a set of four new A.E. pistons, correct for the 18V MGB engines.  They are 8.7:1 compression ration which is the higher of the two types offered.  These feature Press Fit wrist pins as used on all 18 V engines.  These pistons are .020 oversize.

AE brand was O.E.M. when your MGB was new and they are far superior to many pistons currently offered, many from dubious sources.  I am offering this set at a very attractive price, significantly below that of it's normal selling price.  You may bid with confidence.

Nissan and British design group Conran have unveiled 'Plus Conran' limited versions of the Cube, March (Micra) and Lafesta minivan for the Japanese market. The series follows Nissan's 'Modern Living Concept', which stresses advanced design values in cabins, first introduced with the Teana in 2003, and seen in the the Amenio concept minivan, shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2005. Cube + Conran features leather seats emphasizing texture and color, enhancing and refining the sofa-like feel of the Cube seats.

Hear the analysis from our European editor Georg Kacher, contributing editor Ben Oliver and anchorman associate editor Tim Pollard, as they chew over the new cars, surprises, delights and disappointments from the Detroit auto show. NAIAS 2012 was a more sober affair than the previous era of showmanship; there were no herds of cattle being steered down Detroit's streets or wild parties hosted by Chrysler in the old Firehouse.

2009 Mercedes-Benz S Class

Sun, 14 Dec 2008

The Mercedes S Class has long been at the forefront of car technology. You can bet your boots that what we see on any new S Class will be where mainstream makers go in years to come. The S Class was first with things like inertia reel belts and air-bags, and the 2009 Mercedes S Class (perhaps we should call it the 2010 Mercedes S Class in deference to our US friends) – although an update rather than new model – follows this tradition.
