I removed these from my 1969 model MGB and replaced them with the eared variety

these octagonal models are great and compliant with the laws which made the eared ones illegal - because of the risk that you drive down the street you will cut people off at the shins like a silent Ninja sword wielding crazy person

I wish I didn't have to part with these, I was planning on keeping them and giving them to my kids as a graduation present or donating them to an orphanage, but life gets in the way of such grand plans and distention amongst the kids as to who gets which nut has forced me to sell them and take the money from the sale and divide that 12 ways so each of my children can benefit from the removal of these wonderful automotive adornments with happen to serve a practical function of holding on the wheels.

If they fail to sell at auction on eBay it is likely I will trade them for a new hair piece or slap chopper as seen on TV

So bid well - big high and bid often my friends and contribute to the support of the many mouths I must feed as a result of my inability to undertake any meaningful contraceptive practices other than my personality.

'Make electric cars loud and safer'

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

ELECTRIC AND HYBRID cars should be made louder to protect people with eyesight problems, an MP and charities have urged. Mary Glindon (North Tyneside) said the Government should first ensure the vehicles are safe for all road users after pledging millions of pounds in subsidies for the ultra-low emissions market. She believes sound generators should be fitted to the vehicles to ensure visually-impaired (VI) pedestrians are aware of them.

The next Toyota Prius will get “significantly better fuel economy in a more compact package that is lighter weight and lower cost,” according to Satoshi Ogiso, the Prius program's chief engineer. Ogiso, who is also Toyota Motor Corp.'s managing officer, said the next-gen Prius' performance will reflect “significant advances” in battery, electric-motor and gas-engine technologies. He said Toyota is looking at improving miles per gallon to 55, compared with today's 50 mpg and that the next-generation Prius electric motors will be smaller and more powerful; in addition, its gasoline engine will be among the world's most efficient.
