Located in Rye, NH Brit Bits Inc. is a specialty service shop and showroom for all British Vintage/Classic/Antique makes & models. However, Brit Bits not only specializes in service repair work, but also entails a plethora of rare, unique, and innovative parts & items for sale. For example, the MGB "Self-Triggering" Trunk Prop Rod allows one to operate the trunk lid with only one hand and is incredibly easy to self-install for secure and sturdy support. Fully extended, the trunk prop rod measures to about 18-19", which allows for more clearance/head space. (Not fully extended, the prop rod measures to about 12" in length.)

"Replace our old trunk lid prop with this new self-triggering version! You'll love needing only one hand to operate your trunk lid. Ever take anything out of an MG trunk? With the factory prop, you have to set your parcel on the ground while you use both hands to shut the trunk lid. Never again face this annoyance. Just lift slightly and the prop automatically collapses. This prop also reduces the possibility of your trunk lid being ruined by someone trying to force it shut against the rigid factory prop. Looks like original equipment and installs easily to existing mounting brackets. Fits all MG's with factory equipped telescoping prop rods; approx. 1971 through 1980." ~Clark&Clark

Self-Install, Easy Installation Directions are included with each purchase. These MGB "Self-Triggering" Trunk Prop Rods deserve a home in your Classic/Vintage/Antique MG Vehicle, and not kept on our e-Bay waiting shelves. If you have any further questions and/or concerns, please send an email/message via e-Bay. Thank you for inquiring and we look forward to your business. Take care.

The Jaguar F-Type has leaked onto the internet ahead of its official unveiling in Paris on Thursday. The F-Type offers little in the way of surprise to anyone who saw last year’s C-X16 concept, or indeed a current XK for that matter. It’s a more compact sports car than the XK, aimed squarely at the BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster and Mercedes SLK.

LA Motor Show 2013 preview guide

Fri, 15 Nov 2013

According to the show's organisers, the 2013 LA Motor Show is the 'mother of all shows' - how wonderfully American! It runs from 20 November to 1 December at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and although it's not the biggest motor show on Earth, it does boast a fair number of world debuts and 'first reveals' – many of which we’ve rounded up in the following gallery. Tickets cost $10 (£6.22) during the week and $12 (£7.47) at weekends.
