Original right/driver side (I think, double check to make sure that this is the side you need) head lamp bracket. This is in great condition. No longer available. NLA/NLS (No Longer Available/ No Longer Supplied). ** A word about shipping/parts I will combine shipping when feasible. Recently I had 2 packages show up oversea with postage due. Even though I paid all the required postage on my end. This is not my fault. I pay what the post office tells me to pay. While this is isolated, it has happened more than once now. Earlier in the week when I was in the post office shipping a box (almost $155) I was told that there may be more postage due when it gets there. Again, I do not have any control over this. I also don't have control over transit time or the amount of time customs takes either in the US or in your country when it arrives. I make the shipping quotes the closest that I can given the item is not boxed until the auction is over. In cases where I under-estimate the shipping cost and it is $5 or less, I pay it. In cases where I over-estimate shipping cost and I charged you more than $5 over shipping cost I refund you difference. In any case I try to ship the next day after the item is paid for. If the item is larger or requires crating or making a custom box or even buying a box it may take a few more days to get it shipped. I do have control over packaging and the item description. I package it to make it through the handling process of the various shipping companies. I have not had anything damaged in shipping in a long time. I have had stuff lost, but not damaged. If you feel I have not described something properly, please let me know. I ultimately want you to be happy with the part/parts. If you are not, tell me first. I really am easy to deal with. Mon, 09 Dec 2013The 2014 SsangYong Korando (pictured) gets a facelift SsangYong have been on a bit of a mission to place the Korando as a perfect budget offering in the burgeoning Compact SUV market since it arrived in 2011. We’ve had the Korando SX arrive last year to tempt more buyers in, and a £1 million advertising campaign (focused on ‘economically challenged’ areas of the UK) to raise awareness, and now we get a facelift for 2014 to make the Korando more appealing. The facelift means a new grill, new headlights with LED driving lights, bigger air intake at the front, new lights at the back, new colours – Sunrise red, Cosmic blue and Carbonic grey - and some new wheels designs.
Carbon-fiber parts and a software fix help create a lighter, faster Fiat
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Chrysler Group's Mopar parts brand and Italian supplier Magneti Marelli have teamed up on a design exercise based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth that shaved weight and added horsepower. The vehicle, called the Venom, has a number of carbon fiber components -- hood and side mirrors, for example -- that makes it about 200 pounds lighter than the 2,512-pound Abarth. The Venom uses software updates and additional exhaust components to boost the Abarth's standard 160-hp 1.4-liter turbocharged engine's output by as much as 25 percent.
‘Crash avoidance’ systems rated for safety
Thu, 10 Oct 2013The European car safety body Euro NCAP has confirmed it is currently testing a number of cars fitted with crash avoidance technology in an effort to judge the systems’ effectiveness. This news coincides with an announcement from the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which has published the first results of its own version of the scheme. Euro NCAP and IIHS are cooperating to establish a standardised test formula.
