Original gearbox for tachometer drive. This is mounted on the back of the generator and attaches to the tachometer cable. This unit has R141 and 2.25 : 1 (reduction).Very good condition. Needs a little more cleaning. Works well. All the parts are here. ** A word about shipping/parts I will combine shipping when feasible. Recently I had 2 packages show up oversea with postage due. Even though I paid all the required postage on my end. This is not my fault. I pay what the post office tells me to pay. While this is isolated, it has happened more than once now. Earlier in the week when I was in the post office shipping a box (almost $155) I was told that there may be more postage due when it gets there. Again, I do not have any control over this. I also don't have control over transit time or the amount of time customs takes either in the US or in your country when it arrives. I make the shipping quotes the closest that I can given the item is not boxed until the auction is over. In cases where I under-estimate the shipping cost and it is $5 or less, I pay it. In cases where I over-estimate shipping cost and I charged you more than $5 over shipping cost I refund you difference. In any case I try to ship the next day after the item is paid for. If the item is larger or requires crating or making a custom box or even buying a box it may take a few more days to get it shipped. I do have control over packaging and the item description. I package it to make it through the handling process of the various shipping companies. I have not had anything damaged in shipping in a long time. I have had stuff lost, but not damaged. If you feel I have not described something properly, please let me know. I ultimately want you to be happy with the part/parts. If you are not, tell me first. I really am easy to deal with. Nürburgring sold for £83m to German auto tech group (2014)

The Capricorn bid narrowly beat a rival offer from HIG Europe by virtue of its ‘higher purchase price and good prospects for the region’. For now, it’s business as usual.
Senate considers more funds for cash-for-clunkers program

A plan to add $2 billion to the fund passed the House and is being considered by the Senate, where is appears to have support, Reuters reports. The initial $1 billion clunkers outlay is nearly exhausted.
Pininfarina exhibit opens at the Museo dell’Automobile di Torino
Tue, 22 Mar 2011The National Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has reopened its doors to welcome a bevy of Pininfarina models from past and present into its midst. The display takes on some of the milestone models of Pininfarina design and sees a wide selection of cars take up residence amidst the 200 others already on display at the recently renovated museum. Of the more desirable models being shown is a 1947 Cisitalia 202, the two seater berlinetta that has been described as 'moving sculpture' by Arthur Drexler, the highly influential curator and director at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
