In the November issue of CAR Magazine we've gathered together 29 of the best performance cars from the past 12 months to find out which is best. Video: BMW 7 Series

BMW has released new images and a lengthy press release detailing the design process for the new 7 Series sedan, set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. Mercedes E-class Cabriolet at Detroit motor show 2010

Here's our first look at the new Mercedes E-class Cabriolet, unveiled at the 2010 Detroit Auto show. It's the fourth addition to the E-class range, and as with the latest E-class Coupe, the new drop-top replaces the old CLK. The new E-class Cabriolet shuns a hard-top and continues to favour the more traditional folding fabric arrangement - the hood can be opened or closed in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 25mph.
