2005 Interior Motives Design award winners announced

Now in its third year, the awards ceremony is a regular fixture, inked into schedules as a chance to meet and make acquaintances. Each year, Interior Motives proposes a range of design briefs to leading universities, giving their young talent the opportunity to have their work viewed by leading designers and win up to $5000.

It seems likely that tomorrow we’ll get official images and details of the 2012 Audi RS4 Avant, with the first official photo of Audi’s new RS4 leaking out ahead of an official reveal. Audi have the new TT RS Plus debuting at Geneva – and Audi has already issued official details and photos – but so far we haven’t had anything on the new RS4 Avant, which we also know will arrive at Geneva.

Fri, 12 Oct 2012In the 1970s alarm bells were ringing in the energy sector as a series of energy crises and rising fuel prices spiralled. The car industry was forced to produce a new generation of more efficient cars and designers were putting new models through wind tunnels to optimize their aerodynamic performance to reduce aerodynamic drag. Some pushed the limits further than others and none more so than Pininfarina, which designed a car that slipped through the air twice as efficiently than any other.
