This is a used Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire size 285/35/21 with 7.6/32 remaining tread.  The tread depth is more than 75% of the tread depth when new.  It has a damaged bead but it does mount and hold air as it was on my car for many days before I could obtain a complete set of replacements (another tire was damaged and not useable so I decided to replace all 4).

These list for more than $350 new so this is a good deal if you need a useable tire on the cheap.

If you find that the tire does not hold air, I will take it back and return your money.

Barrichello wins for Brawn in Monza

Sun, 13 Sep 2009

Barrichello wins the Italian Grand Prix in Monza The Brawns trailed Hamilton, Raikkonen and Sutil in the first stage of the race with their one-stop strategy, but the dividends of that strategy paid off with the Brawn duo taking the lead after the second pit stops by McLaren, Ferrari and Force India. Hamilton, in the McLaren, had a good race, and was challenging Button for second place in the closing stages. But, having got to within a second of Button on the last lap, he crashed out – probably by trying a bit too hard.

Lamborgini Jota (or nota Jota) Tease 5. Or Tease 6

Jota Tease 6 Well, isn’t it getting exciting? You might consider – as we probably wrongly did – that the tease for Lamborghni’s Paris surprise started back in June when Lamborghini sent us a photo which said ‘Coming Soon…’ across a photo of a bonnet in shadow with the Lamborghini badge in light. Or you could consider that the more recent batch of tease photos started with what we called the Jota tease 2 earlier this month.

Keep Cruisin', Marv Spector

Thu, 08 May 2014

For the last 30 years or so, you could belly up to the service counter at Specter Off Road in scorching Chatsworth, Calif., deep in the Valley, underneath the red-and-white arrow that stretches the length of the squat stucco building. You'd first have to stroll past the long and dark row of dizzying Toyota Land Cruisers -- Japanese fire trucks, FJ60s with roof-mounted machine guns and a propane-powered 1973 Baja 1000 champion. Past the glass cases of old photos and model kits and RC cars from Japan.
