If you've watched Ebay over the last ten years maybe a hand full of Mickey Thompson oil coolers have ever been listed.... the nicest the late Big Bob 409 who I used to trade with sold for $2,500 in an open auction. One Monday one like it that only included the base and lid sold for $1,581.56   Now those are really rare parts but this predates them, THOMPSON lettered items were replaced by the M/T logo versions in 1964. This is the only THOMPSON cooler I have ever seen anywhere, ever , at this point I've yet to find a picture ad or other collector who has an example. Better still not one single M/T version I've ever seen for sale was even complete.... this significantly more rare, possibly pre-production THOMPSON cooler is COMPLETE down to the line adapter and internal filter assembly with part numbers so they can be replaced and more importantly is fully ready to put to use as is!

Most just think these are common "Beehive" coolers when  in reality they are high performance low restriction oil filters that feature a water cooled chamber with dual inlets and outlets. They can be remote mounted as this on is set up or M/T sold adapter plates to bolt them directly to your engine in the case of the FE Ford 390-406-427 or Chrysler Wedge / 426 Hemi blocks. Other engines used spin/bolt on adapter to install them just as today from Transdapt.  Call three three zero eight four four six three seven zero with any questions.

Ebay Requires you to accept Pay PAL ..... IF you choose to use Paypal, you will be required to pay the Paypal fees.  This item is also available to be purchased locally, and I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time if it is purchased locally.  Please feel free to call with any questions.  If you buy internationally, all fees, taxes, etc. are also your responsibility.

2014 Skoda Yeti Facelift – now comes as Town or Country

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

The Skoda Yeti gets a facelift for 2014 – and a split personality The Skoda Yeti has been a big success for Skoda – and rightly so, it’s very able and decently priced – but it’s been around for a while and is ready for a facelift. So Skoda has done the usual facelift tweaks for the Yeti – which will be revealed in public at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show – with new grill and lights at the front, titivated tailgate and lights at the back, some new colour options - Moon-White, Jungle-Green, Metal-Grey and Magnetic-Brown – and new alloys. Inside the tweaks are even less obvious with titivations for the steering wheel, dashboard trim and upholstery and the arrival of a rear view camera and automatic parking the main highlights.
