Ferrari sets personal best in China

Wed, 05 Jan 2011

It was a solid year for Ferrari in the burgeoning Chinese car market in 2010, as the Italian dream maker racked up its most impressive sales in that country with a tally of 300 cars. Sales were up almost 50 percent compared with 2009 results. With 10 current dealerships and the addition of some new business partners, Ferrari expects the added sales for Hong Kong and Taiwan will elevate the region to one of the company's top five international markets.

Barn Find E-Type Jaguar sells at Coys for £88,000

Sun, 27 Oct 2013

Jaguar E-Type chassis 860040 (pictured) sells for £88k Barn find cars are becoming rarer as the world’s classic car collectors have spent years scouring every nook and cranny for a hidden classic car. But they still turn up from time to time, and this E-Type Jaguar was discovered just last month by a Coys specialist in a barn in France, virtually untouched since 1974. One of the first right hand drive coupes to roll of Jaguar’s production line in 1961 – it was actually the 40th RHD E-Type – it was bought by the current seller’s estate in 1969, got a new coat of paint – a change from Grey to the current Aubergine – and driven to the family home in France in 1974, since when it’s sat under a dust sheet in a dry barn.

Volkswagen Scirocco R20T – snapped ahead of reveal

Tue, 12 May 2009

VW Scirocco R20T snapped ahead of the reveal on 21st May I suppose we should consider this a ‘Tease’ from VW, because the photo we have here appears to be a track-prepared version of the new hot Scirocco, but it’s not. It is actually a full production model with a stack of track logos splatted on it. Our snapper says it was a fully trimmed car with a full road car interior.
