You are buying a brand new Milodon # 30900 Low Profile Street/Strip Oil Pan for '55-'79 Small Block Chevrolet V8 Engines. The Low Profile "triangulated" sump design that was originally developed by Milodon over three decades ago gives both adequate ground clearance, as well as sufficient oil capacity for any kind of high performance use.  This pan is equally suited for use on the street or strip.  It will fit all Chevy chassis, except '62-'67 Nova. Oil control baffles 100% subdue oil movement and provide increased horsepower. High strength magnetic drain plug included.

Michelin design contest inspires young minds

The College for Creative Studies in Detroit held its 24th Michelin Design challenge, in which Michelin sponsors a design and development project for one of CCS' transportation design classes. The competition works like this: CCS and Michelin get together to develop a theme, then CCS picks which transportation design class will work on the project. The idea, Michelin says, is to celebrate and promote the kind of vehicle design that highlights original thinking and innovation.

A CONSORTIUM of car makers, infrastructure suppliers and energy consultancies has signed an exciting new agreement to turn hydrogen-powered cars into an everyday reality. The pioneering deal, dubiously named the HyFIVE project (Hydrogen For Innovative Vehicles), is the largest of its kind in Europe. The five manufacturers have agreed to deploy a total of 110 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles at several European locations and develop new clusters of hydrogen refuelling stations – and London is high on the list of targets.
