These main studs are required where maximum gasket loading and minimal wear and tear are exerted on the block threads. Milodon engine studs are premium-grade, race-quality studs that are created from aircraft-quality 8740 chromoly steel right in Milodon's own plant. They are ground and thread-rolled after heat treatment to ensure the exacting tolerances that Milodon requires for all of their fasteners. This ensures strength and consistent torque readings. The tensile strength of these premium fasteners is 190,000 psi, which is more than adequate for the most demanding applications.
All kits come complete with 4130 heat-treated, parallel-ground washers and high-strength nuts.

Well it finally looks as if the rumours are starting to become substance.

Six-hundred horsepower seems rather paltry figure these days. Sure, it was big stuff when Ferrari introduced the 599 more than a half-decade ago. But these days, Ford will sell you a lowly Mustang with 650 ponies and a factory warranty.
