The Billet Club is for the car that has it all. Made of 1 pound of billet aircraft aluminum. The same ergonomics as the Billy Club series shift knobs but with twice the weight.
In racing and driving, having both hands on the wheel is a critical element for maximum control. Races can be won and lost in the amount of time it takes to get from the wheel, to the shift lever, then back to the steering wheel. Proper driving ergonomics call for a taller than normal shift level to shorten the distance from shift knob to steering wheel. Fri, 31 Jul 2009Production versions of the BMW 7 Series & X6 ActiveHybrid will show at Frankfurt The Concepts for the ActiveHybrids were originally shown in 2008, and the production models are expected to be pretty much the same. They are in effect ‘Mild’ Hybrids, using a 20hp electric motor – with an additional 155lb/ft of torque – to add efficiency to the 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8. The electric motor will be fitted in the transmission housing and replaces stuff like the alternator and starter.

AT&T launches campaign against texting and driving

Called "The Last Text," the video tells stories about people whose lives were adversely affected by texting while driving, including the parents of Mariah West, who died after texting "Where u at?" to a friend.
