Cadillac to auction first '14 CTS V-Sport to charity
Fri, 24 May 2013General Motors said Wednesday that it will be donating the first production model of the 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport to the SAE Foundation. The car will then be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson later this year with the proceeds going to the foundation's science, technology, engineering and mathematics student programs. The CTS V-Sport, or as Cadillac officially spells it, Vsport, was revealed earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.

We’re pretty sure this really is just a concept – although no doubt a direction pointer for Ford’s aspirations - but the 3-pot Ecoboost engine in the Ford Start is definitely not a concept engine. Honda cancels V8 program, S2000 and CR-Z convertible, report says

Plans for the successor to the S2000 sports car, a lineup of rear-drive Acuras, a proposed V8 engine and a drop-top built off the CR-Z hybrid are all dead, according to a report in a British magazine. The reason: Honda is rethinking its product plans as it grapples with the global downturn in sales and economic conditions, Autocar is reporting.
