THIS IS A MINI ELECTRONIC RPM TACHOMETER WITH A BLACK FACE AND FEATURES A CHROME BODY, POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL BEZEL, NON-FLUCTUATING NEEDLE, BACK-TRANSLUCENT FACE, CHROME Y MOUNT AND HANDLE BAR CLAMPS, WATER-AND VIBRATION-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION.
BODY DIAMETER IS 2.4" (61MM ) BEZEL DIAMETER IS 2.64" (67MM) OVERALL LENGTH IS 2.7" (68.6MM) ELECTRONIC TACHS HAVE COLOR-CODED WIRES AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS.
THIS TACH IS MADE FOR A HARLEY OR HARLEY LIKE IGNITION FROM 1970 TO 1999. IT WORKS ON BIKES WITH ONE COIL AND A WASTED SPARK IGNITION. IT WILL ALSO WORK WITH SINGLE FIRE IGNITIONS BUT AN ADDAPER MUST BE USED.

That’s the line that Porsche are taking with the new Panamera S E-Hybrid, and they demonstrated that recently by revealing that the new E-Hybrid managed to average 62mpg in the hands of a bunch of motoring journalists on a test day. Which is an impressive number for any car in the hands of a group of people with lead-lined right feet and clearly demonstrates that the Panamera Hybrid really can do silly mpg even in the real world.

Mon, 09 Jun 2014Elon Musk (pictured) launches RHD Model S in UK The electric Tesla Model S – probably the only electric car that makes sense – has finally been launched in the UK in right hand drive, with the first five Model S customers taking delivery of their cars. With a starting price of £50,280 (after the £5k taxpayer bribe) the Model S represents a real first for EVs; the first EV that can do pretty much anything an ICE car can, and more beside. With a range of up to 312 miles, seating for up to seven (well, 5+2), low running costs, great performance (0-60mph in 4.2 seconds) low service costs, no VED, no congestion charge and, at least until 2015, no BIK for business users, it’s not only almost as practical as a comparable ICE car it’s massively cheaper to run.
Volkswagen takes stake in Suzuki
Wed, 09 Dec 2009VW takes a 19.9% stake in Suzuki We’re back on the co-operation and rationalisation path again, this time with Volkswagen and Suzuki, with the announcement that VW is to take a 19.9% stake in Suzuki, with Suzuki in turn re-investing up to half of the proceeds in to Volkswagen shares. This deal has been on the cards for some time but has obviously been pushed in to reality by the changing landscape for car manufacturers, where they seek to find a more secure future with takeovers, mergers and partnerships. Which is all very logical, even if it will inevitably lead to less choice for the car buyer in the long term.
