2013 BMW 5 Series Facelift – Saloon, Touring & GT
Sun, 19 May 2013Facelift for the 2013 BMW 5 Series We knew the next BMW News would be the arrival of a facelift for the 5 Series, especially after BMW accidentally previewed it with a configurator that went online too early. But now the 5 Series facelift is here, and what it lacks in real changes BMW has made up for in photos – they’ve sent us over 200 photos of the new 5 Series – Saloon, Touring and GT – maybe in the hope that a mass of photos will make us think the changes are extensive. McLaren P1: Middle East demand outstrips supply & new P1 photos
Wed, 17 Apr 2013So the opening of McLaren Manama – a joint venture between McLaren Automotive, Mumtalakat, and Al Ghassan Motors - at the Bahrain World Trade Centre is an opportunity to get the P1 front and centre as McLaren promotes both the new showroom and the upcoming 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix. But it won’t just be the P1 in McLaren’s new Bahrain showroom, it will also be the getting the Formula One gloss too with the MP4-25 – Jenson Button’s car in his 2010 season with McLaren – going on display to garner footfall in the new showroom. To give us a reason to report on the new showroom in Bahrain, McLaren has released more images from the photo shoot earlier this year at the Bahrain International Circuit when they were busy drumming up interest in the P1, and they’re such beautifully lit and shot images we couldn’t not publish them.
Last Lexus LFA in Europe gets delivered
Tue, 26 Mar 2013The last Lexus LFA to be delivered to a European customer has now arrived with its owner in Switzerland bringing to an end the Lexus supercar adventure. It took another year for Lexus to start building the LFA at the Motomachi Plant, Aichi Prefecture and a further two years for the plant to finish building the 500 LFAs planned, with the last LFA being built in December last year. Despite the last LFA rolling out in December it’s taken until today for the last LFA bound for a European customer to be delivered, with its new owner taking delivery in Switzerland.
