The wireless remote that started fishing's GPS revolution: i-Pilot delivers speed, steering, Spot-Lock, and the ability to record and retrace paths on the water. All at your fingertips, with fully automatic GPS accuracy.

Features:

- Spot-Lock: Spot-Lock works like an electronic anchor, holding the boat in place. If the boat drifts more than five feet from the Spot-Lock location, i-Pilot will activate the trolling motor to keep the angler on the designated spot. It automatically corrects for wind, waves, current and drift. The "recall" feature for Spot-Lock provides the ability to return to that specific location at a later time. Up to 3 Spot-Lock locations can be stored at a time.

- Record A Track: Record A Track allows an entire fishing track, up to a remarkable two miles in length, to be stored to memory (up to 3 separate tracks). When you want to retrace a course in either direction, i-Pilot's playback functions will automatically guide your boat along the track.

- Advanced Autopilot: Advanced AutoPilot™ utilizes GPS technology to maintain the boat path on a true heading while adjusting for wind, waves, current and side-drift. This results in improved and more accurate tracking compared to traditional compass-based systems.

- Cruise Control: Cruise Control maintains real-time on-the-water boat speed in one-tenth mile-per-hour increments. This precise speed control allows the angler to dial in bait presentations in trolling applications.

- Copilot: CoPilot™ is Minn Kota's wireless trolling motor control system and is integrated into the i-Pilot remote control. Anglers can control speed and steering from anywhere in the boat.

Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 dynamic debut at Le Mans Classic this weekend

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 joins the first D-Type at Le Mans this weekend The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 got its reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend as a D-Type inspired, short-run F-Type with 567 bhp and 502lb/ft of torque. It was joined by Land Rover’s first Special Operations car – albeit a prototype version with red and black swirly camouflage – the Range Rover Sport SVR, which gleefully took to the hillclimb to demonstrate the incongruity of a big SUV acting like a hot hatch and sounding like a muscle car on steroids. But what was a little odd is that the RRS SVR happily strutted its stuff, even though it’s only a prototype, but the F-Type Project 7 didn’t turn a wheel in anger.

Toyota teases new Corolla. Yay.

Remember when Toyotas used to be weird? Sure, they've been doing some marginal experimentation lately, bringing us one half of the Febreze twins and making the Lexus GS a legit good driver's car. But oh, when will they cast the mantle of staid sturdiness fully into the wind?

Hyundai i10 facelift (2011) first official pictures

Wed, 02 Feb 2011

Hyundai today showed off the new i10 city car - one of the most popular small cars in the UK during last year's scrappage incentive scheme. As well as a cosmetic pick-me-up, the new 2011 Hyundai i10 gains a pair of new engines with stop-start tech for emissions nudging just under the magic 100g/km CO2 mark.  The Hyundai i10 Blue emits 99g/km of carbon dioxide, and the Koreans claim it's the cheapest five-seat car on the market to hit sub 100g/km. Five seats?
