THE MOTOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND ALWAYS STORED INSIDE AT THE END OF EACH FISHING DAY. THERE IS LESS THAN 50 HOURS RUN TIME ON A EXCEL 1851 F-4 DUCK/FISHING BOAT. THE I PILOT IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME, BETWEEN SPOT AND HEADING LOCK, I CAN FISH BY MYSELF WITH EASE, DUE TO HAND HELD REMOTE CONTROL. THAT BEING SAID I HAVE NEVER USED THE FOOT CONTROL THAT IS INCLUDED. I AM ALSO INCLUDING A TAKE OFF 60 INCH SHAFT FROM A PREVIOUS I PILOT TERROVA I OWNED 5 YRS. Porsche acquires Nardo Test Track as its new playground
Thu, 12 Apr 2012Porsche Nardo Test Track (map from Google Earth) The enormous Nardo Test Track near Lecce, Italy, has been acquired by Porsche as a new testing ground. Top Gear viewers will probably remember the opening episode if the last series of Top Gear (series 18) with the Lamborghini, McLaren and Noble in Italy or, more specifically, in the Lecce region of Italy which nestles in the warmth of Italy’s heel. The Lecce region also houses the Nardo Test Track which is where the boys took their supercars to hammer round the slightly bumpy outer oval seeking top speed.

Finished in the same striking green as the production Skoda Fabia vRS, the vRS 2000 is a concept car put together just for the GTI-Treffen event in Worthersee and is based on the Fabia vRS 2000 rally car and, as Skoda boss said, Worthersee “…is a welcome opportunity for us to show off our sports models and make sure that everyone knows that Škoda really has something to offer here.” It would have been hard to believe even just a few years ago that a car like the vRS 200 could ever come out of Skoda, but we’re now at the point where, if you can set aside badge snobbery, Skoda often has more to offer than parent VW.
