Apple reveals CarPlay at Geneva 2014

Apple has announced it will reveal its new in-car iPhone system at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show this week. CarPlay is integrated into the car’s infotainment system and uses Siri to receive voice commands from the driver – such as playing music, dictating text messages or making phone calls. Red Tails Mustang joins auction at AirVenture Oshkosh

Ford has produced a one-off Red Tails edition of the 2013 Ford Mustang GT for an auction at the Gathering of Eagles charity event on July 26. The event will take place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. Proceeds will benefit the Young Eagles program, which provides free introductory flights for young people.

New System Needed To Highlight Risks Of Prescription Drugs, Says IAM

THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has raised the issue of prescription drug labeling, after finding that many drivers believe the product information could be more comprehensive. In a survey based on 2,376 responses, only half of drivers asked felt prescription drug labelling is clear enough on medicines. This exercise comes after the government announced earlier this year that a drug-driving bill will be introduced, and will include chemicals which can be found in prescription drugs.
