Mini One Clubman to launch at Geneva

The Mini story continues, with the announcement that a new entry-level Clubman, the Mini One Clubman, is to launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The Mini One Clubman comes with the same 1.4 litre engine as the Mini One, producing 95bhp and boasting the same suspension set-up as the Mini Coopers, which at least means the new Clubman One should be fun to throw around. Rare Ferrari sells for staggering £10 million

A RARE FERRARI representing a key early stage in the history of the sports car manufacturer has sold at auction for £10.7 million. The sale of the 375-Plus at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, was a world auction record for a Ferrari sports racing car. A spokesman for auction house Bonhams also said it was the third highest price paid for any car sold at auction.

Caterham surprised Tokyo with the announcement that it will build its first electric sports car. The battery bullet will be either a full electric car or a hybrid and it'll be campaigned in a one-make series in 2011. 'It'll either be a bought-in full electric power pack or we'll buy in an electric hybrid pack and attach it to an existing Caterham engine,' Caterham CEO Ansar Ali told CAR.
