You are bidding on a mint, vintage Studebaker hubcap. It is my stock number S2. It is a 15 inch hubcap, used for several Studebaker models. This is a clean, near-museum quality “like new” hubcap which gets a 9 on my grading scale:

10 - Brand New - mint condition

9 - Nearly New - very minor or no scratches

8 - Slightly Used - more noticeable scratches

7 - Used - has scuff marks, no cracks, all mounting forks and retention rings intact

6 - Used - deep scuff marks, no cracks, all mounting forks and retention rings intact; if metal, will have some minor dents

5 - Fair - deep scuff marks, may have minor cracks, all mounting forks and retention rings intact; if metal, will have some dents

4 - Fair - deep scuff marks, may have minor cracks, missing one mounting fork, retention rings intact; if metal, will have dents

3 - Poor - useable but will have significant defects (cracks, deep scuff marks, broken mounting forks, missing retention ring; if metal, deeper dents)

2 - Poor - barely usable (will only offer "2" hubcaps if extremely rare)

1 - Poor - not useable (will only offer "1" hubcaps if extremely rare)

There is one very small "ding" mark on the front of the hubcap (see closeup photo, above). There is also a couple small surface scratches on the second chrome ring, along the outer edge of the ring. This amazing find will not last long. Please note my 100% POSITIVE feedback so you can bid with confidence! Also note my FAST SHIPPING policy - you pay, I ship professionally packaged the next day! If you have ZERO feedback I will only accept the "Buy It Now" option. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding.

Tata & Jaguar Land Rover to build their own engines The wires today seem to be full of the ‘news’ that Tata and Jaguar Land Rover are considering building their own engines. Really? The report of this ‘Breaking News’ cites a company report by Tata which indicates a joint engine development programme is being considered.

Jeep Wrangler JK production tops one million

Never mind persistent economic uncertainty and unstable fuel costs, Americans love Jeeps. Compared to nearly anything else on the road, they're far too brash and noisy for anyone to want for daily use, and the majority of Wrangler owners never push 'em anywhere near their limit. But none of that seems to stop us from snatching Wranglers up off dealer lots as quickly as the folks at Jeep's Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant can bolt them together.

John Teller: Diesel truck mechanic, Olympian

Sorting through the cable listings, trying to pick out which of the six million events to watch in the winter Olympics this February, you can be forgiven if you find the sheer volume overwhelming. Who knows the difference between the two-man luge and the biathlon? No one does, that's who.
