Mint in Box Vintage Allison Automotive Opto-Electric Ignition System, Model #17. This system replaces the mechanical breaker points and condensor. No more adjusting the points or them wearing out and no need to adjust the Dwell. Never used or installed! Works with either 6 or 12 Volt Battery Systems. Comes complete with Opto-Electric Ignition system, instructions, advertising brochure and installation trouble shooting sheet. Works with either a Four or Six Cylinder Engine. If you can find a Control Rotor for an Eight Cylinder Engine it can be used with just about any V-8. It was originally bought for a six cylinder engine. Sold for $49.95 back in 1975. AutoWeek Design Forum: McLaren evolves with carbon fiber
Thu, 13 Jan 2011McLaren Automotive design boss Frank Stephenson detailed his company's transformation from strictly racing to producing road-going models on Thursday at the AutoWeek Design Forum. McLaren is launching the highly anticipated MP4-12C this year, and the company has been hard at work refining the use of carbon fiber, which it pioneered in the iconic McLaren F1. The company cut the amount of time required to design a carbon-fiber tub from 3,000 hours for the F1 to a mere four hours for the MP4-12C.

Peugeot 308 Wagon Announced
Mon, 06 Jan 2014FRENCH car maker Peugeot has released the first details of the latest addition to its recently launched 308 range. Following on from the five-door hatchback, the firm is to launch an estate variant called the SW in the spring. Peugeot claims class leading load space plus a flat floor and the ability to fold the seats with a single action from inside the boot.
