If you want to put a passenger side door mirror on your Beetle, this is the nut to place inside your door.
For Beetle Sedan and Super Beetle Sedan.  Does not fit convertible.

After you cut the hole in the outer door skin, tape this nut to the open end of your 24mm combination wrench and insert it up in your door.  Once you've tightened the mirror, just pull your wrench off.  If you don't have a wrench that big, attach it to a paint stirring stick with tape to get it up there.  If you mix up some JB Weld, you can glue it in there so it won't fall out if you remove the mirror in the future.
