Mishimoto front mount intercoolers are constructed of 6061 aluminum and are precision tig welded, offering an enhanced level of performance. Sun, 03 Jun 2007By Mark Walton Motor Shows 03 June 2007 01:58 Saab goes bio-power crazy Saab is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with a further push into the very topical biofuels arena, and Geneva showcases two new examples of the Swedes' growing green commitment. First is the new 9-3 Biopower, a full range of saloon, estate and convertible 9-3s, all powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that's been modified to run on both unleaded and E85 (85 percent ethanol, 15 percent petrol). The mechanical changes include hardened valves and valve seats, and a new stainless steel fuel tank and ancilliaries, adding up to what's expected to be a £600 premium in the showroom over the standard 9-3.

Fri, 07 Mar 2008By Mark Walton Motor Shows 07 March 2008 17:11 What’s new on the Alfa Romeo Geneva Motor Show stand?Alfa’s youthful new CEO Luca De Meo swept into Geneva like the heir-apparent he no doubt is, to unveil the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider. Even though this is now a well-known car that’s been previewed a dozen times at events around the world (including the 2006 Goodwood Festival of Speed and 2005 Pebble Beach) it still drew a big crowd for the official launch; and when the silky red cover was drawn off, there were still an audible gasp from audience, despite the familiarity. Shown in white with dark grey alloys and a deep tan interior, the Spider is an achingly beautiful car – a stunning, proper, drop-dead drop-top, arguably even more sensuous and dramatic than the 8C Competizione coupe that preceded it.

Thu, 20 Feb 20142015 Audi TT teased in design sketches The Audi TT is about to move in to its third iteration as it continues its progress from hairdresser’s car to mini R8, with a reveal of the 2015 Audi TT at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Ahead of that reveal opf the new TT, Audi has released two design sketches (above) to tease the changes it’s wrought to the TT and whet appetites for the proper reveal. The official design sketches show a TT that moves in the direction of the R8 in design,m with new grill, new headlights, sharper lines and the four rings badge moved up on to the bonnet.
