Saab 9-3: is this the new 2013 hatch?
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Is this the new Saab 9-3? Contained in Saab's business plan submitted to the Swedish National Debt Office was this grainy image of what purports to be the new 2013 9-3. If it is indeed a model of the finished 9-3, then it shows that the 2011 Phoenix concept car was influential in guiding what should become Saab's best-seller.

Tue, 13 Sep 20112012 Suzuki Swift Sport - properly revealed ahead of Frankfurt With Frankfurt rapidly looming we’ll be getting waves of reveals over the coming days (keep that coffee pot bubbling – long days coming), and today’s first offering is a slightly more extensive reveal of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport than we had last month. The Swift has become a properly decent little car, and we’ve been looking forward to the arrival of the new Swift Sport. Mind you, we were looking forward to it more when we thought it might get 180bhp of Polo GTI goodness under the bonnet.

But when one considers the country's history of innovation in the arts and architecture, its long-lived automotive marques like Tatra and Skoda, and Prague's central location in Europe, it makes perfect sense. Conference speakers included the program design director for Citroën DS, Ivo Groen; Volvo vice president of design Thomas Ingenlath; Jaguar advanced design director, Julian Thomson; Gert Hildebrand, head of design for Qoros; and Johann Lemercier, program manager at Ferrari design.
