Jaguar XFR Speed Pack
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Jaguar has revealed a Speed Pack for the XFR, raising the top speed to 174mph and adding cosmetic tweaks. We have been expecting Jaguar to arrive at the Paris Motor Show next month with an XFR-S, an XFR with the same power boost as the XKR-S to offer an XFR that can hold its own against the new M5. That may still be happening, but perhaps Jaguar are only planning on giving us a low-fat upgrade to the XFR in the form of the XFR Speed Pack, revealed at the Moscow Motor Show?
BMW tuner Manhart creates 743-hp M6 Coupe
Fri, 20 Dec 2013There are BMW M6 drivers out there for whom the stock output of 560-hp and 500 lb-ft of torque just aren't enough. At least that's what German tuner Manhart is betting on in unveiling their MH6 700 version of the M6 hardtop. Manhart has been tuning BMWs and only BMWs for 20 years, and they've worked on everything from the E30 3-series to the latest offerings from the Bavarian automaker.
BMW 1M Coupe – up the Goodwood hillclimb we go
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Claire takes the BMW 1M Coupe up the Goodwood hillclimb Although the Goodwood Festival of Speed doesn’t actually start until tomorrow, today saw the second year of the Goodwood Moving Motor Show kicking off a long weekend of petrolhead joy. The USP of the Goodwood MMS is the opportunity – for a lucky few – to take an interesting bit of kit up the Goodwood hillclimb. This year Claire had drawn the tickets for the day; tickets Volvo had kindly sent us (many thanks, guys) after they asked us to drive the hillclimb in a Polestar car.
