New Boxster and Caymen swell Porsche’s order book
Sat, 11 Apr 2009The 2009 Porsche Cayman S - helping to boost Porsche sales [ad#ad-1] We’ve run stories on how well Porsche, and the whole VW/Audi group, is holding up through the current malaise in the car industry. Porsche’s last lot of profit figures were very impressive, but were mainly due to the huge amounts Porsche made on its trading in VW shares. Four million drivers have steering 'out of line'
Tue, 25 Mar 2014MILLIONS of drivers could be at risk of an accident and injuring others by having defective steering, according to new research. A study for Kwik Fit has shown that one in eight motorists (12%) say the steering on their cars pulls to one side or the other, and just under one million of those say that their steering pulls 'significantly'. The data reveals that younger drivers are more prone to this issue, with 25% of those under 34 admitting that their car pulls to one side, even on a straight road.
Another Ayrton Senna Honda NSX for sale
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Ayrton Senna’s Honda NSX (pictured) is expected to fetch £75-85k Ayrton Senna was arguably the greatest F1 driver of all time, and his death 20 years ago at Imola sent shock waves through the sport and deprived F1 fans of more years of Senna’s driving prowess. But driving F1 cars wasn’t the only thing Senna did; just like today’s F1 drivers he was also involved in road car development, and during his time with McLaren he was a part of Honda’s (engine suppliers at the time for McLaren) development of the original NSX. So any Honda NSX with a clear link to Senna can reasonably expect to be a desirable car for collectors and F1 fans to acquire, and the Honda NSX up for grabs at Silverstone Auctions’ sale next month has a very clear Senna link.
