Key is used but thankfully not abused. It was a spare key that we grabbed occasionally. I first aquired it for my 2009 Lancer but then stepped up to an outlander. I programmed the key via the instructions in the owners manual. You need to keys to then program a third. 
But of course, consult someone more knowledgeable than me. yadi yadi. 

The key was cut to my car so you will need a new key blank, they sell a few different ones here on ebay, this is just an example, I dont know the one you need.

Based on the G37 Coupe, the Convertible comes with a three-piece metal folding roof and will debut at the Los Angeles motor show this November. Sales start in the USA in early 2009, but Infiniti has yet to confirm a European launch.
