But according to Automotive News, the Alfa Gloria is actually a very strong hint at what the new Alfa Giulia will look like when it arrives in 2015 as part of Sergio Marchionne’s plan to revive the Alfa brand and drive sale forward.

Ford posts best June sales performance in down market

In a month of sandbagged auto sales, Ford was the clear winner. The Blue Oval posted a sales decline of “just” 10.7 percent in June, in a market that fell nearly 27.7 percent. It was by far the best showing of any major carmaker, helped by strong sales of its Fusion sedan and Escape crossover.

Infiniti has recruited Simon Cox as design director at its Infiniti Design London studio, which is currently Nissan Design Europe. He will report directly to Infiniti executive design director Alfonso Albaisa. The new appointment comes as Infiniti attempts to evolve its design strategy by establishing new dedicated design studios, of which the London Paddington studio is the first.
