For sale I have a set of front collars (2 collars per side) from a set of Raceland coilovers that go on VW Mk5s (golf, gli, gti, jetta, rabbit). These go on threaded bodied struts (coilovers) and are used to adjust the height of the car. The spring sits on these. There are 2 per side beside they lock into each other to ensure no movement. These are not sold individually from a coilover set, so they are kind of hard to come by. They are a little scuffed up, but that doesn't matter because they won't be seen once installed. What you see in the picture is what you get (the wrenches for these are not included).

Toyota GT86 TV Advert BANNED

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned a TV advert for the Toyota GT86 because it encouraged motorists to drive irresponsibly. But it seems the advert would “encourage motorists to drive irresponsibly” and “…was irresponsible and condoned dangerous driving”. Or at least it would according to the ASA, which made the ruling after being inundated with complaints about Toyota encouraging drivers to speed and be reckless.

But we know from the difference the 4.7 made to the V8 what a great car the V12 must be to drive. And we’ll get our hands on one at some point soon.

Jaguar C-X16 concept scoops 'Design Concept of the Year' award

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

The Jaguar C-X16 concept car has won Design Concept Car of the Year at the 2012 Scottish Car of the Year Awards. The two-seater concept – which acted as a teaser for the recently revealed production F-Type model – was first seen last year at the Frankfurt motor show and was designed to indicate Jaguar's future design direction. Collecting the award was Ian Callum, Jaguar's Director of Design, who said, "With the C-X16 concept, we set out to move Jaguar's award-winning design language on to the next generation, creating a car that is the very essence of future Jaguar performance." John Murdoch, association president, declared: "Many of these show stunners don't see the light of day but they are valuable for gauging public reaction to new ideas.
