More than just a Bluetooth® hands-free. FISCON handsfree kits are completely integrated into the infotainment system of the vehicle. This means convenient operation via the keys of the vehicle, extensive display of information on DIS / MFD display and no additional external control units.

This Bluetooth® retrofit expansion means the complete integration of a FISCON Bluetooth® handsfree in the operating logic of the infotainment system with a large screen. The graph corresponds exactly to the rest of the design of user interfaces, if any, with the support of the touchscreen.

The interaction with the mobile phone, so both the operator and the output of information via as RNS 850 touchscreen display and also via the DIS / MFD display of the speedometer.

The menus are operated with buttons on the steering wheel or DIS / MFD tilt tab on the steering column-lever (if available).

FISCON handsfree profiles support a huge number of mobile phones of all manufacturers.

But its appearance seems resolutely stuck in time, like John and Jackie Kennedy in Zapruder’s film of the Dallas motorcade, or like the fans who berated Bob Dylan for going electric.   There are no design surprises: the bodysides are curvy and more crisply pressed, the rear lamps supersized, otherwise the floating roof, wraparound chrome piping and wheel-at-each corner stance are all present and correct. ‘We need to be careful,’ BMW Group design director Adrian van Hooydonk told CAR.

Registration is now open to attend the glamorous Interior Motives Design Awards 2013 ceremony at Moon 13 (formerly The Cocoon Club) in Frankfurt on 9 September, the eve of the first Frankfurt motor show press day. The finalists will be revealed in front of some of the most influential figures in car design, while partygoers will be able to view the projects in person and relax over a drink and food with their colleagues. Awards will be given in the following eight categories: Best eco interior Best use of technology Best innovative interior Best ergonomics Best conceptual interior Best production interior Best conceptual exterior Best artistic visualization The winner of each category receives $500 in prize money, and one student (or group of students) will walk away with the accolade of Interior Motives Student Designer of the Year, which carries with it a prize of $5,000.
