Here is a nice explosion whistle for a Model T Ford. It goes in place of one of the spark plugs and you tie a cord to the actuating lever and pull when you want to make a railroad type whistle sound. It comes with a vintage Chamption No. 25 spark plug. I have not tested it but I believe it works as I can get some noise when I blow through it. A great fun Model T accessory. Buyer pays shipping.

New Nissan X-Trail starts at £22,995. But it’s FWD

Thu, 01 May 2014

The new Nissan X-Trail (pictured) falls in price The styling of the new Nissan X-Trail, which arrived last year at Frankfurt, has eschewed a lot of the boxiness of the old X-Trail and taken on many of the styling cues from the new Nissan Qashqai. And in the process it’s perhaps become ‘softer’. The old X-Trail was more rugged than most modern compact SUVs, but the new X-Trail has arrived with a choice of Front Wheel Drive versions – no doubt aimed at keeping the price down – as well as cuddlier looks.

Volvo Concept You - Volvo's future direction We have to confess that we weren’t huge fans of the Volvo Concept Universe at Shanghai this year, but the Frankfurt offering – the Volvo Concept You – is more convincing. The Concept Universe at Shanghai was just a bit too much ‘East meets West’ in design, with the feeling that it was just not quite the right direction for a new, more upmarket Volvo to follow. But the Concept You is more convincing.

Once people reach 70 they must declare whether or not they are fit to drive every three years, without having to take a driving or medical examination.
