Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept for Detroit Motor Show

Volkswagen Volkswagen has announced a Beetle Dune concept will take to its show stand at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) next week – promising to bring a bit of beach buggy sunshine to the polar vortex chilled show halls of Detroit. Toyota increases U.S. prices an average of 1.7 percent on most models

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc., coping with a rising yen and an earthquake-shattered supply chain, announced price increases today that average 1.7 percent for many 2011 Toyota, Scion and Lexus models. The increases range from $65 for the small imported Scion xD, to $900 for two of its larger vehicles, the Toyota Land Cruiser and Sequoia SUVs, as well as several Lexus models.

Discovery Sport Finally Breaks Cover

LAND ROVER has taken the wraps off its much-anticipated replacement for its current Freelander model. Called the Discovery Sport, the Brit premium car maker has decided to move its once entry-level 4x4 upmarket. Boasting styling cues inside and out from the Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the Discovery Sport is said to be more of an all-rounder than the Freelander, thanks to an increased focus on cabin space and versatility due to the inclusion of a third row of seats.
