Model T Ford Coil Tester w/ Precision Ammeter for setting the critical 1.3 Amps @ 6 Volts required. Including instructions from Model T service manual

**Works with all Years of Model T's**

**Now with 120Volt AC to 6 Volt adapter included**

Here is a New Quality tool that will let you test and adjust any Model T Ford Coil and set that critical 1.3 Amp @ 6 Volts required by the model T Ford service Manual. It can check your spark plugs as well. Many times that old coil is actually still good by just cleaning and resetting the points. The tool is used for setting new points as well. Just slide your coil into the holder of the tool, Plug into any 120 Volt AC source, push on the red test button and if your coil is working you will see the coil points vibrate and the actual spark jumping across the brass terminals. ( using the INCLUDED instructions from the Model T service manual ) you can easily TEST or ADJUST the coil for the amperage required ( 1.3 Amps @ 6 Volts DC ) on the Ammeter. The coil in the image was a used non working coil, but by cleaning, adjusting and using this tool, the coil now works as well as new.  The tester is approx. 10" x 7" x 3"

Notice the fuse protection + easy to read ammeter scale, and the adjustable brass terminals ( set them to .030 like your spark plugs or set them up to 1/4" to see if you have an extremly hot coil )  The coil shown in the picture and the spark plug DO NOT come with the tester.

Toyota studying larger Prius people-hauler

Fri, 20 May 2011

The three-row Prius would not be the same vehicle as the Prius Alpha sold in Japan, which basically crams a third row of seats into the cargo area of the five-seat Prius V to be sold in the United States starting this fall. To the contrary, this potential Prius would be large enough to hold seven people as well as their stuff, said Bob Carter, Toyota Division general manager.

Toyota Recall Update: Half of UK cars now fixed

Mon, 15 Mar 2010

Toyota has fixed half of the 180k cars recalled over the sticky throttle problems It seems like forever ago that we revealed the enormous problems Toyota had with a mass worldwide recall on a  chunk of the cars they’ve produced in the last few years, but it’s actually only a little over a month – even less since we reported on the Prius recall. But having reported the negatives about Toyota – deservedly so – it’s only fair to report the positives. The Toyota Recall for the sticky accelerator affected a rather significant 180,965 cars in the UK alone.
